How to make High Quality Alpha Gypsum Powder with High Pressure?

Alpha gypsum powder is a kind of calcium sulfate hemihydrate gypsum, but it's different from beta gypsum with higher strength, fewer water needed. How to make High Quality Alpha Gypsum Powder with High Pressure?

First of all, high quality gypsum rock is a must, satin spar gypsum will be the best to make alpha gypsum.

Secondly, wash the gypsum rock to ensure it very clean before sending into kettle to lose the combined water.

Thirdly and very importantly, elevated pressure and temperature to a certain degree to make sure the gypsum rock can lose enough moisture in the heating kettle:
Note: when the pressure reaches 8~9 kgs, put gypsum rock into kettle and keep putting in steam. In the first 15 minutes it is necessary to drain away water, and soon after, drain away water every one hour, this procedure cannot less than 21 hours, workers should pay high attention on the required pressure and temperature.

 
Fourthly, pull out the heated gypsum rock and use the fork lift to transfer into a closed kettle to drying the moisture.


Fifthly, transfer the dried gypsum rock into a open place, workers will use knife to cut down the brown or gray colored ourfit, to make sure the gypsum rock is high purity without dust or other impurities.

Sixthly, Use a special machine to separate the gypsum rock into different color grades and crash into small size around 50mm.


Seventhly, crash the rock into powder shape and use transportation machine tranasfer the powder into storage and use the automatic divider to pack gypsum powder into 25kgs/bag or 40kgs/bag or 1000kgs/bag.
